If you’re looking for some a great fall activity to get you in the halloween spirit then look no further than St. Helens, Oregon. This town was the set for the 1998 movie Halloweentown and they hold a celebration of the season each year that features giant scarecrows, fall colors, pirate shows, a haunted house, and merchants turned to immortal forms as fairies, witches ghosts and ghouls. As they say, “We love Halloween and we let it show.”

About Halloween Town
The Spirit of Halloweentown is held from September 17 – October 31, 2022.
You can come walk around any weekday or weekend. They celebrate their haunted history and our movie locations from Halloweentown and Twilight mainly on weekends offering fun attractions and family activities.
The courthouse plaza is home of the big pumpkin. They also light the pumpkin on the first Saturday of October following the Big Halloween Parade and it stays lit for the month.
Parts of our City are ADA accessible but not all are, especially if it is wet outside. The plaza is grass and other locations are gravel or have stairs without elevators.
Dog friendly: They do allow you to bring dogs as long as they are well-behaved 🙂
Attractions open at 10:00 AM and most close by 4 or 5 PM. You can find more for specific attraction by visiting their schedule page. Weekend parking is at 471 Plymouth Street St. Helens, OR 97051.
